FAQ's
Where should I stay?
We have two hotel blocks for our out-of-town guests: The Ravel Hotel and the Hyatt Place LIC. But you are welcome to stay anywhere you’d like in the City. All of the wedding weekend events are easily accessible via car or public transportation even if you choose to stay in another part of town!
What time should I arrive on Wedding Day (Saturday)?
Please arrive at The Foundry at 4:30 p.m. There will be glasses of bubbly and live music before the ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 p.m.
When do I need to RSVP?
No later than September 1st, please! If you have any trouble with the “RSVP” button at the top of this page, please shoot Kendra a text to confirm your RSVP.
How do I pick my Dinner choice?
Dinner selections will be taken at the table! There will be a meat, fish, and vegetarian option, as well as an appetizer and dessert course. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please note them on your RSVP.
Will Transportation be provided?
Transportation will not be provided to the weekend’s events. The welcome party venue (Focal Point Beer Co.) is an 8-minute walk from both hotels. The wedding venue (The Foundry) is next door to The Ravel and a 12-minute walk from the Hyatt Place.
Are the ceremony and Reception indoor or outdoor?
As long as the weather holds up for us, the ceremony will take place outdoors in the courtyard at The Foundry. The rest of the evening will take place indoors.
Are Children Invited?
We love your children, but we are opting to have an adults-only wedding.
Is there an after party?
Yes–this is the City that never sleeps, after all! The wedding reception will officially end at midnight, but for those that would like to keep the party going, we’ll be hanging out at The Foundry in a smaller space until 1:30 a.m.
Do you have a Registry?
Nope! Instead, we’re asking guests to donate to one of the charities linked in the “Gifts” tab of this website. If you really feel you must contribute to us directly, there is also an option to contribute to our first home fund.
What is the Dress Code for the Wedding?
The Dress Code is Black Tie. Please wear tuxedos and bowties, or floor-length or formal cocktail dresses. We’re also encouraging folks to embrace the vintage-glam style of Old New York: ideal color choices include rich fall tones and metallics. Come dressed to impress and be mindful of the weather!
Do I have a plus one?
If you have a plus one it will be indicated on your invitation and on the RSVP page. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns!
